These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from Mantra & Motif. By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Mantra & Motif

Mantra & Motif is a jewellery brand offering meaningful, mantra-inspired and symbolic jewellery designed as personal reminders and everyday anchors.

Throughout these Terms, “Mantra & Motif”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mantra & Motif.

2. Our Products

Our jewellery is made to order and may be customized and finished individually.

Because of the nature of this process, minor variations in colour, finish, stone placement, engraving, size or appearance may occur between individual pieces and the photographs displayed on our website.

We make every effort to represent our products as accurately as possible. However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography and your device or screen settings.

Minor handcrafted variations are not considered manufacturing defects.

3. Product Materials & Care

Product materials and finishes are stated on the relevant product pages.

Where a product is described as gold-plated stainless steel, the gold refers to the plating or finish and not to solid gold unless expressly stated otherwise.

Jewellery longevity depends on usage, storage, environmental conditions and exposure to chemicals or other substances.

Customers are responsible for following the care instructions supplied with the product and/or published on our website.

Please refer to our Refund, Exchange & Shipping Policy for information regarding manufacturing defects and eligible exchanges.

4. Orders

By placing an order, you confirm that:

The information provided by you is complete and accurate.
You are authorised to use the selected payment method.
You have reviewed the product details before completing your purchase.
You understand that many Mantra & Motif pieces are made to order.

After an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation.

An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed and we have confirmed the order.

We reserve the right to cancel or decline an order in exceptional circumstances, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, incorrect product information, inability to fulfil the order or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order that has already been paid for, the amount paid for the cancelled item or order will be returned through the appropriate payment method.

5. Pricing & Payments

Prices are displayed in the currency applicable to the customer's selected market or as otherwise displayed during checkout.

Prices may change without prior notice. Any change in price will not affect an order that has already been confirmed.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the final amount displayed at checkout before completing payment.

International customers may be charged foreign exchange fees or other charges by their bank, card issuer or payment provider. These charges are outside the control of Mantra & Motif.

6. International Orders, Customs & Duties

For orders shipped outside India, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, clearance charges or other local fees may apply depending on the destination country.

Unless expressly stated at checkout that duties and taxes are included, such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

Mantra & Motif does not control customs authorities or the charges they may impose.

Customs processing may occasionally cause delivery delays outside our control.

7. Made-to-Order & Custom Pieces

Many Mantra & Motif products are made specifically after an order is placed.

Once production has commenced, an order generally cannot be cancelled or changed.

Customised or personalised products cannot be returned or exchanged except where they arrive damaged, defective or materially different from what was ordered, subject to our Refund, Exchange & Shipping Policy.

8. Shipping & Delivery

Estimated production and delivery timelines are provided on individual product pages or during the ordering process.

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Occasional delays may occur due to production, courier services, customs, weather, public holidays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Our procedures for delayed, damaged or lost shipments are explained in our Refund, Exchange & Shipping Policy.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Additional shipping charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer may be payable by the customer.

9. Refunds & Exchanges

Our products are subject to our separate Refund, Exchange & Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Because our pieces are made to order, we generally do not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind.

Eligible manufacturing defects, incorrect products and other qualifying issues will be handled in accordance with that policy.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Intellectual Property

All content associated with Mantra & Motif, including our brand name, logos, original jewellery designs, product names, photographs, videos, graphics, written content, packaging concepts and other creative materials, is owned by or licensed to Mantra & Motif unless otherwise stated.

Our content may not be copied, reproduced, commercially exploited, distributed or used to create substantially similar commercial material without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

11. Spiritual & Symbolic Meaning

Mantra & Motif jewellery draws inspiration from mantras, spirituality, philosophy, cultural traditions, affirmations and symbolic ideas.

The meanings and stories associated with our jewellery are intended for personal inspiration and reflection.

We do not claim that wearing any product will produce specific spiritual, emotional, medical, financial or other outcomes.

Our products and content are not substitutes for medical, psychological, financial or other professional advice.

12. Website Use

You agree not to use our website:

For unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
To interfere with the operation or security of the website;
To introduce malicious software or harmful code;
To misuse our intellectual property;
To attempt unauthorised access to our systems or customer information.

We reserve the right to restrict access where misuse is reasonably suspected.

Those services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Mantra & Motif is not responsible for the independent operation of third-party platforms except to the extent required by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mantra & Motif will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits any statutory consumer rights available to you.

Information necessary to process payments, fulfil orders and deliver products may be shared with relevant payment processors, logistics providers and other service providers involved in fulfilling your order.

The latest version will always be available on our website, together with the date it was last updated.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or a purchase from Mantra & Motif will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, subject to any rights available to consumers under applicable law.
