Our Promise to You
Every piece at Mantra & Motif is made to order with intention, just for you. Because of this, we do not offer refunds. However, we are committed to standing behind the quality of every piece we create, and we will always do right by you.
Exchanges
We accept exchanges under the following conditions:
Within 2 days of delivery:
We will exchange any piece that arrives with a manufacturing defect or is different from what was ordered. Please contact us within 2 days of delivery with clear photos of the piece and your order details.
After 2 days of delivery:
We are unable to accept exchanges for general wear and tear, change of mind, or issues arising from improper care.
Metal Quality & Tarnish
All Mantra & Motif pieces are crafted in high quality gold-plated stainless steel. Our jewellery is tarnish-free and waterproof under normal conditions.
Designed to be water-resistant and highly resistant to tarnishing under normal wear. With proper care, your piece is designed to retain its finish beautifully over time.
In extremely rare cases, prolonged exposure to heavy chemicals, toxins, or harsh substances may cause the metal to temporarily darken. If this occurs, please contact us within 7 days and we will arrange an exchange. This situation is genuinely rare, our metal is built to withstand everyday life.
To maintain the longevity of your piece:
- Remove before swimming in chlorinated pools or the sea
- Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals
- Store in the pouch provided when not wearing
- Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear
Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces
Every piece is made to order based on your chosen mantra or design. As each piece is handcrafted, there may be slight variations from the reference image this is the nature of custom jewellery and part of what makes your piece unique. These variations are not considered defects and are not eligible for exchange.
Layered Necklaces
Layered necklaces are delicate by nature. If not stored carefully, tangling can occur this is natural and expected with multi-strand jewellery worldwide, and is not a product defect.
To prevent tangling:
- Always store flat or hang individually
- Use the pouch or box provided
- Do not bunch or fold when storing
Tangling due to improper storage is not eligible for exchange.
Shipping & Delivery
All pieces are made to order. Estimated delivery timelines are mentioned on each product page at the time of ordering.
If your order is delayed beyond the stated timeline:
- We will notify you proactively the moment we are made aware of any delay
- Delays caused by third-party vendors or logistics partners are outside our direct control, however we take full responsibility for communicating them to you
- If your order is delayed by more than 14 days beyond the stated delivery date, please contact us and we will work with you on a resolution including a replacement order or store credit
We do not offer refunds for shipping delays unless the order is lost in transit and cannot be recovered, in which case we will resend the piece at no additional cost.
